Our city is beautiful year round, but truly turns magical during the Christmas Season. The main attraction being the River Walk with over 100,000 strings of lights surely makes for beautiful sites and pictures. This year though, we visited another area that is quite popular during this Christmas time and one that is not so popular but still very pretty.
Travis Park, which hosts the lighting of the Christmas Tree, boasts a beautiful 55 foot White Fir at it’s center. The large tree displays the city’s 300th Anniversary celebration with ornaments displaying the number 300 on them.
We also made our way to the park by Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital, Milam Park, where we found a beautiful message for all the children to see – “BELIEVE” – alongside its beautiful gazebo.
